Overhead Hoist Cranes, Gantry Cranes Hoist

Our main lifting cranes includes overhead cranes, bridge crane, overhead travelling cranes, gantry cane, jib cranes, portal crane, etc. The overhead bridge cranes are with three different types which are low speed, regular speed and high speed gantry crane.

The jib crane, portal crane contain up/down hoisting and left/right traversing building together in the unit. Sometimes have main and secondary hoisting in the unit. Welding of crab frame is using structure steel. A layout of crab trolley is based on available space for an easier maintenance and a safety handrail is included.

Please check our detailed page for more information if you are interested in our overhead bridge hoist cranes.

Bridge crane & EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) Crane

The Bridge cranes (also referred to as Overhead cranes) are cranes with a lifting system like overhead hoist or open overhead winch.

They are of very robust construction with a high level of standardization, making them very modular and adaptable to any need, high reliability components and available for a wide range of applications for industrial environments.

An overhead crane consists of parallel runways with a traveling bridge spanning the gap. A hoist, the lifting component of a crane, travels along the bridge. If the bridge is rigidly supported on two or more legs running on a fixed rail at ground level, the crane is called a gantry crane (USA, ASME series) or a goliath crane (UK, BS series).

Unlike mobile or construction cranes, overhead cranes are typically used for either manufacturing or maintenance applications, where efficiency or downtimes are critical factors.

Better use of space with Black Bear overhead cranes

The optimized combination of structures and mechanisms (lifting, cross travel and long travel) on these cranes reduce hook approaches and that maximize the useful areas.

Construction of structural welded elements, done with automated and robotic systems, which guarantee the repeatability of welding processes and reliable product quality.

The mechanisms used in our industrial cranes are indivisible part of them, covering the range of Chain hoists from 250 kg. to wire rope hoists of 200 tons.

Structure of box girder or standard profile, optimized by computer calculation processes. Cheng Day designs offer the best technical option with the best mechanical value. We follow up below standard as reference…

The Overhead Alliance is a group that represents Crane Manufacturers Association of America (CMAA), Hoist Manufacturers Institute (HMI), and Monorail Manufacturers Association (MMA). These product counsels of the Material Handling Industry of America have joined forces to create promotional materials to raise the awareness of the benefits to overhead lifting. The European Materials Handling Federation (French: Fédération Européenne de la Manutention, (FEM), is the association representing material handling, lifting and storage equipment manufacturers in Europe. DIN Standards are the results of work at national, European and/or international level, the relevant Technical Committee of the European standards organization CEN (CENELEC for electrotechnical standards) or the relevant committee at the international standards organization ISO (IEC for electrotechnical projects).

Besides, JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) is main reference we used, CE for sure.
